JJK @ Appy

Will the VHSL review and if so will suspensions be handed out? I wasn't there so maybe somebody can fill us in? I'm not even going to try to discuss this out in the regular board.

I would say it was some fisticuffs. A guy I work with is a JJK guy and he sent me a bunch of scores late in the 4th. Sounds like BI was trying to throw up some points or hopefully Appy just folded late against subs.

Word I got was that Appy and JJK had a brawl before the game even started. We need lpdftbl here.

Was a mess guys. Appy tried to block our entrance(we stayed off the field whle they entered and they rushed over to block our way) and B.I. let our boys charge. It got nasty right then,and stayed nasty. B.I. left his starters in after punches started getting thrown at the JJK players. It is not Appy's goalposts,and when you try to block them,it's going to be man on man. The one kid from Appy (35 I think) went after Lester,and Lester made him pay (kid is tough as nails). Throughout the game Appy players were taunting the JJK side (forgot to check the scoreboard I guess). One of those things where both sides got heated,and I'm not a proponent of scoring it up,but when they disrespect you guys, stay on the gas. Appy called our kids out,and they were rewarded with getting their teeth kicked in.

I cant wait til my Wednesday Night Poker Game, half of our players are big Appy Football supporters. They told me all week they would roll JJK and PV.....

I don't agree with you a lot, but that actually seems to be a common thing in Appy the last few years. Was it last year that Robbins was going to be suspended for getting tossed for a "punch" that wasn't. The kid was under a pile and someone was twisting his knee, or pinching him or something and he pushed the kid off of him. Meanwhile, some fatass Appy assistant coach was almost at midfield yelling and screaming for the refs to throw him out that he saw a punch even though it was 45 yards away from him.

This year when we played them it was slippery and muddy. We had a WR block a cb to the ground on a run play. He was trying to get up off the kid and slipped back down. An Appy player ran over and slung the CW kid to the ground and the CW kid got a 15 yd penalty.

The discipline and values Tom taught seem to be long gone down there.
